Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 1, 2026
Last updated: July 9, 2026

Pink Wolf Journal ("Pink Wolf," "we," "us") provides this Service. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have over it.

1 · What We Collect

We collect information across a few categories: (1) Information you provide — the details you use to create and manage your account (such as your email and username) and the content you create, upload, or store in the Service, including your journal entries, trade records, uploaded screenshots and files, performance statistics, and personal notes; (2) Payment & subscription information — where billing is active, information relating to your subscription and payments, handled by our payment processor; and (3) Usage & technical information — data about how you access and use the Service, such as device and browser details, log data, approximate location derived from your IP address, and general activity. If we ever begin collecting a genuinely new category of personal information, we will update this Policy to reflect it.

2 · Your Content Is Private by Default

Your trading journal — including your entries, trade records, uploaded screenshots and files, performance statistics, and personal notes — is private and visible only to you. It is never public, and we do not share it with other users, unless you deliberately choose to through a feature of the Service (for example, connecting a coach with an access token, broadcasting a note to your pack, or sharing a payout win). We keep your content scoped to your account so that other users cannot access it.

3 · How We Use It

We use your information to provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service; to store and process the content you enter; to generate the analytics, insights, and functionality you use; to enable any sharing or collaboration you choose to set up; to process payments where applicable; and to communicate with you about your account and support requests. We do not sell your personal data.

4 · AI Features

Some parts of Pink Wolf analyze your trading data to generate insights, forecasts, and coaching-style feedback, and certain of these features use artificial intelligence. When you use an AI-powered feature, only the entries and statistics needed to produce your result are processed, and only for that purpose. We do not use your content to train our own models, and we work with AI providers who do not use content submitted through their services to train theirs. Using AI features is your choice.

5 · How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in three cases: (1) with the service providers who run Pink Wolf (such as our hosting, database, payment, and AI providers), acting on our behalf; (2) when you choose to share — such as connecting a coach, broadcasting to your pack, or generating a share link; and (3) if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the Service.

6 · Storage & Processors

Your data is stored in the cloud and processed by third-party providers that help us run Pink Wolf: cloud hosting, database, and authentication infrastructure providers; Stripe (payment processing, when billing is live); and AI providers that power certain analysis features. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. Pink Wolf is operated from the United States; if you access it from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S., which may have data-protection laws different from those in your country.

7 · Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and browser local storage for essential functions like keeping you signed in (your session) and remembering preferences such as your theme and dismissed nudges. We don't use these for third-party advertising.

8 · Your Privacy Rights

You can access your data in the app, export your data, and delete your account at any time from Settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have additional rights over your personal data — such as to access, correct, delete, export, or object to certain uses of it. To make a request, email us at support@pinkwolfjournal.com.

9 · Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account in Settings, we remove your journal entries, notes, uploaded files, and account record from our active systems promptly. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period as those backups rotate, after which they are overwritten. We may retain limited records longer where required (for example, billing, tax, or legal compliance).

10 · Security

We protect your data with industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls that scope your journal to your account. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security — but we take reasonable measures to keep your data safe and limit access to it.

11 · Financial Disclaimer

Pink Wolf is a journaling and analytics tool. It is not a broker, does not execute trades, and does not provide financial, investment, or trading advice. Any insights, forecasts, and statistics are for informational and self-review purposes only. Prop-firm rules vary and change — always refer to your prop firm's current rules. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.

12 · Children

Pink Wolf is for adults 18 and older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we'll remove it.

13 · Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
